The Capitol School

Students at The Capitol School realize that that there are many ways to do math.  In our cluster, we use a combination of montessori math, touchmath, accelerated math and other manipulatives to experience mathematics.  Here, these students use tens bars and units to learn addition with regrouping.

Excitement is building for our cluster field trip to Chattanooga on April 29-30!  This trip correlates to many of our studies in the areas of science and social studies.  Students look forward to this trip all year.  It’s a great way to make our learning “come alive”!
