The Middle and High School Program
Our world is very complex and requires skills and knowledge far beyond what can be obtained from reading a book and answering test questions. Teachers develop units in a manner geared towards a balance with standardized tests. Middle schoolers and high schoolers at The Capitol School are gaining a head start by getting the experience, confidence, and skills they need to succeed around the world.

Middle and high school students receive individualized help, tutorial sessions on Fridays, advisory group sessions, one-on-one parent teacher meetings each semester, create and broadcast public radio shows, conduct in-depth stock market studies, participate in significant community service projects, and are involved with advanced club sessions such as Spanish, guitar, yearbook, radio club, and art club. These are a few of the meaningful learning experiences enjoyed by The Capitol School’s middle and high school students.
