High School Program
Our world is very complex and requires skills and knowledge far beyond what can be obtained from reading a book and answering test questions. Teachers develop units in a manner geared towards a balance with standardized tests. High school students at The Capitol School are gaining a head start by getting the experience, confidence, and skills they need to succeed around the world.

High school students receive individualized help, tutorial sessions on Fridays, advisory group sessions, one-on-one parent teacher meetings each semester, create and broadcast public radio shows, conduct in-depth stock market studies, participate in significant community service projects, and are involved with advanced club sessions such as Spanish, guitar, yearbook, radio club, and art club.
