Students at The Capitol School begin formal art lessons at the age of five. Small groups of 10-12 students take art classes twice a week as they continue to develop their skills through 12th grade. The focus of the lessons is on drawing and learning to see objects and light. An annual art show is held each May called “Art in the Park”.
