Session 5 PM 4-5: Fishing, Hiking, and Boating Adventure
Session 5 PM: July 20 - 31
Grade level: 4-5
Teacher: John Durham, B.S., M.A., Ed.S.
Additional fee: $25
Description: We won't be at school much during this session. We will be getting into the school van and heading to the hills and lakes and rivers that surround Tuscaloosa for hikes, fishing, bird-watching, and boating.
You will need to bring good walking shoes, sunblock, a water bottle or two, proper attire and hat, sunglasses, camera, and an adventurous attitude. We will be fishing in the Black Warrior River and Lake Tuscaloosa.
We will be hiking in urban parks and local state parks. There is so much to do in and around this great city. If you have never caught a fish, let's go catch one.
If you have never seen a Bald Eagle, let's go find one. If you have never canoed across a lake, let's go!
