Description: This class explores games chronologically. From Ancient China and Babylon to modern America and video games, students will learn about the people that played each game, the historical and cultural significance of the game, and its rules. They will get a chance in each class to play the games we’ve learned about.
Teacher Bio: Mr. Jon Hancock grew up in Birmingham. He received his Bachelor’s degree in May 2018 from The University of Alabama in Secondary Social Science Education. He is currently working on his Master’s degree in Social Science Curriculum and Instruction. He enjoys playing games, watching sports, and music.
