Session 2 PM: 20th Century Through the Decades
Session 2 PM: June 2 - June 21

Description: Enjoy learning about the 20th century! Each day we will learn about one decade and learn about the clothes, music, art, inventions and important events that made that decade memorable. We will chart the prices of a variety of goods through the years! The class will enjoy art activities, writing activities and so much more! My how things have changed!
Teacher Bio: Mrs. Sheila Hallman is a native of Northport and graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S and a M.A. in Elementary Education. She taught with the Tuscaloosa County School system for 32 years, before retiring. The great majority of that time was spent teaching 1st grade. She is currently teaching 3rd grade at American Christian Academy. During the school year, she also teaches one Classroom Management course for student interns from UA. She states, “Teaching is certainly not just a job, it is my passion.” She also tutors in her spare time. Sheila said, “I'm so excited to have the opportunity to work with The Capitol School each summer! Summer Explorations is a wonderful program!”
