Session 4 AM: Mozart & Movement
Session 4 AM: July 8 - July 19
Age / grade level: Preschool
Teacher: Mrs. Kaitlin Redborg, B.A., M.F.A.
Description: Learn all about the rich world of music and dance from the classical composers to sing along songs! Your preschooler will have a blast with age-appropriate activities introducing early music concepts, like rhythm, echoing and tempo! They will love to get creative with musically themed days like ‘Super Hero Dance Party”, where pretend play and superhero themed music will inspire our movements. Each day we will explore the music, instruments and dances of different cultures. Children will be introduced to composers like Mozart and legendary musicians and performers that shaped music and movement. They will experiment with the science of sound and make hand-made musical instruments. Children will also have access to real musical instruments to explore and try. Engage your child’s love of movement and imaginative play while dancing to great music.
