We were so excited to celebrate the 100th Day of School on Friday, February 5. We had 100 days of in person learning at school. The students enjoyed learning about 100 during the week and celebrating 100 on our special day. We counted the school days each day since we opened on August 12th.
We asked each student to bring a small bag of 100 items to count in various ways. We learned the multiples of 100 including 2 X 50, 4 X 25, 5 X 20, and 10 X 10. We counted many items, built structures with 100 items, used pattern blocks to form the numeral 100, did 10 different exercises 10 times each, and made 100 fingerprints with paint. We read a number of books about 100 and the 100th day of school. Learning is so much fun the 100 way!
