Margee FreemanFaculty - Pre-School ClusterMontessori Preschool Lead Teacher, Preschool GermanMrs. Margee Freeman graduated from The University of Alabama in 2001 with a degree in German. While pursuing her bachelor's degree, she spent over a year attending the Paedigoesche Hochschule in Weingarten, Germany. This university specializes in education and “Frau" Freeman planned, taught, and was observed daily while attending the PH. This experience taught her how to effectively teach foreign languages to children and develop her lesson planning. She has more than ten years of Montessori experience and attained her master's degree in 2004-- also in German. She enjoys wearing two hats at The Capitol School; Frau Freeman is both a Lead teacher and a German teacher in our Montessori Preschool.

Kaitlin Redborg Faculty - Pre-School Cluster and Art Expert Teacher
Mrs. Kaitlin Redborg is Capitol School’s Art Instructor and she co-teaches in the Freeman/Butler/Redborg Cluster ages 3-5. She has an M.F.A in Printmaking Studio Arts from The University of Delaware, a B.A in Studio Art and a B.A in Art History from Lawrence University as well as training in the Montessori teaching method. She has studied art in Florence, Italy and Chicago, with internships in New York City. She has taught art at all levels from early childhood through College and Graduate Level.

Kelsea Butler
Faculty - Pre-School Cluster
Montessori Teacher
Mrs. Kelsea Butler has been a Co-Teacher at The Capitol School since June 2018. She graduated with both a certificate and an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018. Mrs. Butler has a daughter attending The Capitol School. She has been working with children as a private nanny and teacher for ten years. Her hobbies include a variety of art forms from sketching and painting to singing and playing reed instruments. She also has a budding green thumb and enjoys baking bread and sweets.
