The programming that we will use for this robotics course are resources that come from First Inspires. It is a non-profit dedicated to nurturing the skills of young people in STEM education. Students will have a variety of projects that they will work on in the following areas: marketing, programming, building, and wiring.
Teacher Bio: Mrs. Kianah Brooks is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a master’s degree in Interactive Technology. Brooks also works full-time for the College of Continuing Studies at the university too. She has a background as a classroom teacher for middle school-age students. Currently, she is working as a facilitator for the Capitol School in the fall and spring semester for the Robotics course and is excited to work in this capacity in the summer.
All students of middle school ages and up are encouraged to join this summer course. We look forward to your participation.
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: SE2021 Summer Camp Balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
