Session 3 2021 PS AM: Little Scientists
Session 2 AM: June 14-25
Age / grade level: Preschool
Teacher: Mrs. Kaitlin Redborg, B.S., M.F.A.
Description: Let the world of science come alive for your child this summer as we explore the natural world, make observations and hypothesize about what might be going on, leading to new discoveries for your child. Each day we will tackle a new scientific subject or experiment and use what we have learned to explore and create beautiful arts and crafts using the concepts we learned. We will study many different scientific fields and learn about the scientists who work in them. Some of the subjects we will dive into include: Entomology and study of insects; Chemistry and Physics; Zoology and animal life; Microbiology and the unseen world we live in. We will learn about famous scientists and the history of scientific discovery. Most of all, your child will learn to appreciate the beauty of science in a fun, hands-on environment.
