Arts and Crafts for Kids
The students will be introduced to a variety of famous artists and art styles. They will create several arts/crafts activities. Recycling will also be a topic as students will be excited to help our environment by creating a recycled art project!
Teacher Bio: Mrs. Sheila Hallman is a native of Northport and graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S and a M.A. in Elementary Education. She taught with the Tuscaloosa County School system for 32 years, before retiring. The great majority of that time was spent teaching 1st grade. She is currently teaching 3rd grade at American Christian Academy. In the past, she has also taught a Classroom Management course for student interns from UA. She states, “Teaching is certainly not just a job, it is my passion.” She also tutors in her spare time. Sheila said, “I'm so excited to have the opportunity to work with The Capitol School each summer! Summer Explorations is a wonderful program!”
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: SE2021 Summer Camp Balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
